We are doing it again!! Join us for the World Gong Puja, September 19 from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, to unite and co-create a global vibration of peace and harmony. We will gather in sacred space and experience deep harmonic resonance through the continuous soft playing sounds of multiple gongs.
Please arrive at 10:00 pm to set up your comfy bed and get oriented. Opening sacred space is at 10:30 pm and the gong players will begin. There are four players, Jesse Kalapa, Elaine Kohrman, Kristen Loree, and Douglas Cardwell who will take turns playing the gongs all night. Yes, it's 8 hours of soft playing that induces a gentle trance state for rest and sleep. At 6:30 am we greet the sunrise with a rousing gong crescendo and close the ceremony. There will be time for debrief to end at 7:00 am.
This sacred all-night “puja” or devotional ceremony is an international event which coincides with the International Global Gong Puja. The soothing sounds of gongs induce a deep meditative state where participants can sleep and drop into inner stillness. The gongs create long-sustained vibrations that generate a unified field. Immersion in these sound waves over several hours creates a global reverberation that connects with other gong pujas around the world in a network of frequencies.
This event is for those eager to go deep into a sacred sonic space and emerge transformed to sustain these vibrations in our daily lives. Let's join together to raise our vibrations and gather in global unity. Last year’s event had over 1,000 gong players from 83+ countries!
